Terms of Use

By using our Platform, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years old (or of legal age in your country).
• Are legally capable of entering binding contracts.
• Accept these Terms and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland.

La Land App is an digital venue that facilitates freelance transactions between:

• Clients (those who purchase services), and
• Freelancers (those who offer services).

We do not provide services ourselves and are not a party to any agreement between Clients and Freelancers.

To access most Platform features, you must register and create a user account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or any applicable law.

You are responsible for:

• Your content, behavior, and compliance with local laws.
• Payment of taxes (e.g., income tax, VAT) in your country.
• Delivering or receiving services in accordance with agreed terms.

You agree not to:

• Violate any local, Nordic, EU, or international law.
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
• Upload or distribute harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
• Use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent activities.
• Circumvent our fee structure or payment system.

We charge service fees to both Freelancers and/or Clients. The applicable fees will be transparently presented before finalizing transactions.

Currency:

Transactions are processed in the local currency of the country where the user is registered, specifically:

• SEK (Swedish Krona) for users in Sweden
• DKK (Danish Krone) for users in Denmark
• NOK (Norwegian Krone) for users in Norway
• EUR (Euro) for users in Finland
• ISK (Icelandic Króna) for users in Iceland

If multi-currency support is not available for a given feature, the default processing currency will be SEK. Currency conversions may be subject to exchange fees or rate fluctuations set by our payment processor.

Taxes:

Users are responsible for declaring and paying any applicable VAT, income tax, or local business taxes in accordance with their national laws.

All engagements between Clients and Freelancers are independent contracts.

La Land APP is not:

• A party to the contract.
• Responsible for delivery or quality of services.
• Liable for disputes between users.

We offer a basic dispute resolution process, but final responsibility lies with the users.

Payments are processed via secure third-party providers. Users agree to:

• Not bypass our payment systems.
• Release funds only after services are completed as agreed.

Payouts to Freelancers may be subject to processing times and verification procedures.

Users retain ownership of the content they create and share. However, by using the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and promote your content on the Platform solely for operational and promotional purposes.

You must not upload content that:

• Infringes copyright or trademarks.
• Violates third-party rights.
• Is offensive, misleading, or illegal.

We collect and process personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant Nordic data protection laws.

By using the Platform, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms or applicable laws.
• Remove any content that violates these Terms.

You may deactivate or delete your account at any time from your account settings.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim:

• All warranties (express or implied).
• Liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our liability, if any, shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of laws.

Any disputes shall be subject to:

• Swedish courts, with venue in Malmö District Court (Malmö Tingsrätt).
• Consumers within the EU/EEA retain the right to resolve disputes through local consumer protection bodies and the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR).

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
